Time & Attendance :  “CLID-T4” for Personnel Time Management
Efficient and low cost system to check in/out time of personnel

Employees Time Attendance ControlCLID-T4 is a terminal with proximity reader for chip cards, used to store entry and exit times. The newly effective regulations relative to the weekly 35 working hours have still increased the importance of Time and Attendance in the French societies.

CLID-T4 is used to read SmartCards (or keyfobs or tags) without physical contact, all equipped with read-only transponders. Its basic functions are :

  • Time & attendance : to store entry and exit times (day work, night work, work in shift, etc.), holidays or conventional absences, for any size of company.
  • Access control : to grant access to restricted areas or locals by means of door unlocking systems (electric door locks)
  • CLID-T4 is built of an electronic circuit control board with an AC/DC converter (115/230 VAC into 12 VDC), a LCD display, to show information to user, an antenna to read presented transponders and a keypad, to manually enter specific parameters.

By presenting a transponder to the field of the CLID-T4 antenna, its individual code is transferred to the electronic device, for authentication.
A valid code will enable entry or exit times to be stored, whereas unauthorised code will be rejected and no storage performed.

Connected to an external contactless card reader to which a transponder is presented, the CLID-T4 terminal will get a validated message and issue a pulse for the electric door lock, authorising door to open.

Management of either time attendance or access control is ensured by the REG software programme, which has to be installed on a P.C. (> 486, Pentium II or equivalent, Win 98; required space on hard disk : min. 8 MB).

Installation of CLID-T4 on a wall (in an entry hall or corridor) is very easy.

Up to 16 CLID-T4 may be set in a single network, under the control of the same PC.
